History of Movado Watch Brand

Movado is a Swiss-based watch company founded in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1881. It was bought by Gerry Grinberg, a Jewish-Cuban businessman and owner of the North American Watch Corp, also known as the Movado Group, Inc. (MGI) nowadays. This watch conglomerate now consists of nine different brands, including the one it was named after.
